Automobile manufacturers and vendors are facing two paradigm shifts: The trend to shared mobility and the increased demand for autonomous decision-making of the vehicle, including data sharing, autonomous driving and value transfer.

  • Existing frameworks are predominately centralized without tamper-proof identities

  • Lack of trust in the data exchange between internal and external systems (e.g. How to prevent manipulation of autonomous driving decisions?)

All relevant mobility systems can access the data stored on the Blockchain that has been whitelisted by the car owner / producer. Smart contracts are established to enable automated business logic.

Reconciliation process happens on the blockchain, values are transferred to or from the HW wallet.

1. E.g. payment for charging process

2. Personal and privacy related data are not written to the blockchain, only the related hashes to ensure integrity of the underlying data.

3. Tokens are deducted from the HW wallet

4. Funds are added to the charging provider`s DLT wallet or the HW wallet of a charging station

5. Incentive schemes can be settled
